Hi, I’m Malia, a certified yoga instructor, writer, and lifestyle blogger.
I began my yoga journey ten years ago as a way to cope with anxiety. In my teen years, I started to struggle with generalized anxiety. Yoga was a wonderful way for me to reconnect with my body and find a sense of peace.
Since then, I started teaching yoga and meditation with an emphasis on restoration, relaxation, and self-love. I’m certified in trauma informed yoga therapy (TIYT) and am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I’ve also been formally trained in restorative yoga, anatomy and sequencing for injury prevention, the art of holding space, and more.
As a writer, I started publishing at a young age and continued on to write professionally since college. I love sharing my life through words, and I hope you enjoy my voice.
I got married in April of 2018 after nearly six years dating the love of my life. We’re having an amazing time starting this new journey together, along with our sweet miniature schnauzer, Greg.
Throughout this blog, you’ll find posts and articles full of the knowledge I’ve gained over the years. You’ll find specialized programs, free online yoga classes, lifestyle inspiration, and more. I’m so glad you’ve decided to join me!

Much of what I do is without pay. If you support my work, or if I have offered you guidance or connection in some way, please consider making a small donation. It helps me continue to write blog posts, film videos, and share my message of love with the world.
