As many of you know, I got married this April (yay!) and I’m excited to share details of my special day. I won’t lie, I was incredibly stressed and anxious leading up to the wedding, as well as on the actual day. I honestly just wanted to get it over with so that I could relax. But anxiety aside, it was truly the most amazing, heartwarming day of my life. Having so many people I loved in one place was almost too overwhelming!
All in all, I’m beyond happy that I finally got to marry the love of my life and our new life together couldn’t be sweeter. Here are some details of our wedding day with mostly Austin-based vendors, and lots of pictures 🙂 Hope you enjoy!
Venue: Silo and Oak
We knew we wanted to keep our wedding small to help my nerves and curb costs, and this venue in Temple, TX that specializes in intimate weddings was the perfect choice! We had our ceremony in a beautiful wooded area surrounded by nature, then moved the party over to two gorgeous, chic barns and a stunning patio.
Dress: Maggie Sottero
I felt so lucky to find a dress that I loved right within my budget. When I thought about what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, I always imagined fairy-like, dainty, and romantic. This was actually the first dress I tried on at Belle Saison Bridal and knew it was perfect for me!
I loved these affordable floor-length bridesmaid dresses in Dusty Rose. The light and airy spring color was lovely against the backdrop of nature. Each bridesmaid got to choose her own style.
Hair and Makeup: Project Artisty
Groomsmen: Men’s Wearhouse
Photography: Toan Nguyen Photography
Toan was wonderful and these pictures amongst the Christmas trees take my breath away!
Flowers: Jordan Flowers and Events
My super talented husband handmade the flower boxes that sat on each of the tables, as well as the Mr & Mrs cake stand. He also built the wooden arch we stood beneath during the ceremony!!
Bridesmaid’s Robes: Etsy
I loved our ceremony and will always cherish those moments. I was able to put together our ceremony myself and we read our own vows, which was so special to me. As soon as I started walking down the aisle, the tears started to fall and they didn’t really stop until after we said, “I do.”
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and us along the way. We truly wouldn’t be the strong, loving couple we are today without all the love from all of you. Thank you!!
